Community Baptist Church celebrates pastor's anniversary on Sunday

Pastor and Sis. Hearns

BELOIT - Community Baptist Church, 1634 Center St., South Beloit, will be celebrating the 9th anniversary of Pastor Robert L. and Sis. Mia Hearns at a 10:45 a.m. service and 4 p.m. service on Sunday. The services are open to the public.

Special guest for the morning service will be Pastor Edward Seals and the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church of Rockford. The afternoon service will have special guest Dr. Kerry Newburn and the Bethel Baptist Church of Rockford.

The Hearns were former members of Bethel Baptist Church, where Robert Hearns was assistant pastor for 17 years. Mia Hearns is an educator at Fruzen Intermediate School. They have one daughter, Da'Coshia, a student at Harlem High School in Loves Park.
