OLA to hold special Good Friday fish dinner

Print Article

BELOIT - Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church (OLA), 2222 Shopiere Road, will have a special Good Friday Fish Dinner from 5-7 p.m. on April 19. Instead of their usual "all you can eat" fish fry, it will be a "pay what you can afford" 2 piece dinner with baked or fried cod, baked potato or fries, coleslaw, bread and a beverage.

The church's hope is to feed many in the community who otherwise may not receive a good meal that day and that those who can afford to pay will contribute toward the meals of others.

Any donations in excess will be divided between St. Vincent de Paul Society and Family Promise.
