Knights take down Madison East

MADISON, Wis. - Another day, another victory for the Beloit Memorial softball team.

The Purple Knights took their show on the road Wednesday and defeated Madison East 6-1, out-hitting the Purgolders 11-3 in the process.

Angelique Spencer and Kylie Evans each had two hits for the Knights, with Spencer, Miranda Mechanic and Madison Stavn each driving in a run.

Brynn Swanson was terrific in the circle, pitching a complete-game while striking out nine.

The Knights will be back in action Thursday at Verona.
