BELOIT - On June 13, Glenn Buggs will be inducted into the Beloit Historical Society's Elliott-Perring Sports Hall of Fame at the 34th annual induction banquet at the Beloit Rotary River Center.

The 2019 inductees includes Beloit Memorial 1969 All-State basketball player Bruce Brown, 1940s Beloit High football star Robert Seidel, Beloit Catholic High basketball and running/cycling standout Bridget Georgeff and retired Turner head baseball coach Rick Hofeditz.

Also saluted with the Everett C. Haskell/Bernie Barkin Lifetime Achievement Award will be longtime Turner statistician Karl Miller.

A reception will begin at 6 p.m. with the dinner to follow at 6:30. The program starts at 7. Tickets are $30 and must be purchased in advance at Carroll Allstate Insurance, 816 Fourth Street. Tickets can also be purchased by credit card online at www.BeloitHistorical
