Three Fury members represent Wisconsin

ST. PETER'S, Mo. - Three members of the Rock County Fury competed for Team Wisconsin in the USA Hockey's America Showcase national tournament held April 11-14.

Sisters Haley and Alyssa Knauf of Albany and Anika Einbeck of Monroe were members of Team Wisconsin.

The 10 teams were divided into two pools. Team Wisconsin defeated all four teams in its pool, knocking off Missouri 6-0, Minnesota Green 2-1, Mid Am 11-0 and North Dakota 4-0.

Team Wisconsin played Colorado in the semifinals, posting a 3-0 victory. Two undefeated teams then squared off in the finals, with Minnesota White handing Team Wisconsin its first loss, 3-1.

The Knauf sisters tied for second on Team Wisconsin in points scored. Haley posted five goals, one assist and was named Player of the Game in the semifinal. Alyssa earned six assists in the tournament.

Einbeck finished in a five-way tie with five points in the tournament. She tallied four goals and one assist.
