At the time a heavy storm hit Beloit, the Snappers were leading 3-2 in the bottom of the fourth inning.

Snappers leadoff hitter Cobie Vance extended his hitting streak to 12 games in the first inning with a home run to give Beloit the lead.

Wisconsin got on the board in the second inning, scoring two runs to take a 2-1 lead on a two-run single by Antonio Piņero off of Beloit starter Bryce Conley.

Ryan Gridley then walked to begin the bottom of the second and later scored on a double by Vance. Chase Calabuig then singled home Vance to give the Snappers a 3-2 lead.

The Snappers will now hit the road to take on Cedar Rapids Thursday at 6:35 p.m.

Daniel Martinez (1-0, 3.86 ERA) will get the start for the Snappers in the first of a three-game series with the Kernels.
