KISSIMMEE, Fla. - After being thumped by Marietta College 16-4 Monday, Beloit College's softball team rebounded in a big way, knocking off Haverford 5-1 at the Fortune Road Complex.

Beloit stranded six runners on base through the first three innings and trailed 1-0 heading into the sixth. Alyssa Boltik and Emily Stapay drew walks and moved up on a passed ball. A wild pitch allowed Boltik to score and advanced Stapay. Makayla Zundel followed with a walk to put runners at the corners. An out later, Maddie Christine's double to right center plated two more runs to make it 3-1.

Alyssa Morris made it 4-1 with a single to score Christine. Callie Dutton made it three straight hits, plating Morris for a 5-1 lead.
