Elliott 12th in D-1 60 dash

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Beloit Memorial graduate Jaliyah Elliott placed 12th in the 60-meter dash at the NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships Friday night.

Elliott, a junior at Youngstown State University, ran a 7.36 in the 60, which earned her second-team All-American status.

It was the first time Elliott had qualified for the Indoor Championships. Her season will continue with the outdoor portion of the track and field season.
