Belleville's rally trips up Parkview

EVANSVILLE, Wis. - The Parkview Vikings couldn't hang onto a 13-point halftime lead and were eliminated from the WIAA Division 4 playoffs Thursday night.

The Vikings (17-7) led Belleville 39-26 at the break before being outscored 44-27 in the second half to fall 70-66.

Justin Balch scored 18 points, Adrian Mexa and Eli Hoscheit each added 13 while Aydon Campbell scored 12 to lead the Vikings' typically balanced attack.

Belleville center Royce Clark was critical in Belleville's comeback, scoring 18 of his 24 points in the second half. Belleville won despite Parkview nailing 10 3-pointers.

The Wildcats advance to take on New Glarus Saturday in Middleton.
