HARTLAND, WIs. - Rock County Fury outshot the Arrowhead Warhawks 31-16 Tuesday night, but suffered a 2-1 non-conference loss at the Howard Mullett Ice Center.
After a scoreless first period, the Warhawks jumped out to a 2-0 lead midway through the second.
With less than three minutes in the period remaining, the Fury scored on a power play. Cammi Ganshert's shot from the blueline started the sequence, which saw Alyssa Knauf pickoff the rebound and pass to her sister Haley. She then passed the puck to Anika Einbeck for the Fury goal.
That was all the Fury could muster offensively.
Rock County goalie Olivia Cronin had 14 saves. Warhawk goalie Emma Tate had 31 saves.
