BELOIT - Alyssa Knauf scored four goals to lead the Rock County Fury to a 6-1 non-conference victory over the Viroqua Blackhawks at the Edwards Ice Arena on Saturday.

Knauf opened the scoring late in the first half on assists by Anika Einbeck and Anna Malone. She tallied her second goal with six minutes remaining in the second period on an assist by her sister Haley.

The Fury, who had 44 shots in the game, took control in the third period. Einbeck made it 3-1 on assists by Olivia Combs and Abby Humphrey. Alyssa Knauf earned her hat trick to make it 4-1 and freshman Anna Malone tallied her first varsity goal on a pass from Combs. Knauf finished off the win on an assist by Malone.

Olivia Cronin had 31 saves for the Fury (12-7-2), who earned the second seed in the WIAA regional/sectional seedings. Rock County will take on No. 7 seed Badger Lightning at 7 p.m. Feb. 14 in the regional finals in Beloit.
