Tide intermediate school team takes 1st

BELOIT - The Beloit Intermediate Tide swimming team knocked off three visiting Janesville squads in an intermediate school meet held at the Beloit Memorial High School Natatorium Tuesday.

The Tide amassed 364 points. Janesville Marshall was next with 327, followed by Janesville Edison (299) and Janesville Franklin (264).

Top performances for the Tide included firsts by the 200-yard medley relay (2:06.1) of Aiden Donovan, Kai Wong, Ben Sill and Christopher Ludlum, Donovan in the 200 freestyle (2:24.38) and Wong in the 50 breaststroke (35.41).

The Tide got seconds from Sean Goodspeed in the 200 free (2:28.22), Wong in the 100 IM (1:08.01), Sill in the 50 free (25.25) and 50 butterfly (28.19) as well as the 200 free relay of Ludlum, Goodspeed, Ayden Wehrli and Braden Krause.
