No. 6 University School shuts down visiting Fury, 4-0

MILWAUKEE - The Rock County Fury fell to the sixth-ranked University School of Milwaukee Saturday, 4-0.

"The way we played did not feel like a 4-0 loss," Fury head coach Luke Steurer said. "I was impressed how we came out to play. Everyone was hustling to the puck and playing both ends of the ice. We put together three great periods that we have been trying to do all season."

Steurer said the Fury suffered some unfortunate bounces and hit the post a few times. They also had to fight off 10 penalties.

"We matched their aggressive play, but unfortunately we were watched a little closer, making it hard to stay in the game," Steurer said. "The girls fought hard to the end and stayed focused on playing hockey and not letting anything else get in there way. The focus they kept throughout the game helped keep us in it."

RC goalie Olivia Cronin had 20 saves.

The Fury play at the Icebergs on Friday.
