Phyllis E. Elithorpe, age 81, of Edgerton, formerly of Beloit, died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019, at home. She was born in Beloit on July 28, 1938, the daughter of the late Thayron and Gertrude (Heggelund) Elithorpe and was a 1956 graduate of Beloit Memorial High School. Phyllis was a bookkeeper for Brown Swiss Cattle Breeders for over 44 years. She was a longtime member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Beloit and had been attending Central Lutheran Church, Edgerton for the past 15 years.
Phyllis is survived by her friend and companion for over 50 years, Wayne Kohlin of Edgerton; as well as 8 cousins; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019, at CENTRAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 100 W. Rollin St., Edgerton, with Rev. Erik Jelinek officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Beloit. Visitation will take place on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at CENTRAL LUTHERAN CHURCH.
