Lee Ann Lilja, 64, of Roscoe, IL, and formerly of Beloit, WI, died Saturday, June 29, 2019 in her home.
She was born November 19, 1954 in Dayton, OH, the daughter of Richard and Betty (Hazeltine) Unger. Lee was a 1972 graduate of Beloit Memorial High School. She was also a 1974 graduate of Mercy Hospital School of Radiology.
Lee loved the beach, traveling to Florida, cooking, dancing, and listening to music. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church where she has sung in the choir since the age of 3 and was active in the Luther League during her high school years. Lee also enjoyed playing the flute while in high school.
Survivors include her daughters, Rebecca Hill and Katherine Hill both of Milwaukee, WI; two grandchildren who affectionately call her "grammy", Layla Arreguin and Ryker Arreguin; her mother, Betty Holloway of Beloit, WI; stepmother, Mary Jo Blanchette of St. Petersburg, FL; sisters and brothers, Sue Butner of Taylors, SC, Phillip Anderson of Fitchburg, WI, Mark Anderson of Monona, WI, Joy (Tony) Bosco of Beloit, WI, Anita Blanchette of St. Petersburg, FL, and Richard (Julianne) Unger of Bradenton, FL; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and best friend, Sharon Yagla of Roscoe, IL.
She was predeceased by her father, Richard Unger; stepfather, Don Anderson and grandparents.
Visitation of remembrance for Lee will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 6, 2019 in the in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, followed by a 3:00 p.m. funeral service.
