Virginia M. "Ginny" Ellsworth, 97, of Beloit, WI, entered into Eternity, Friday, May 31, 2019 during the hour of Mercy, on the Feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
She was born February 1, 1922 in Appleton, WI, the daughter of Joseph S. and Adah Rose (Carley) Stoffel. Virginia was a 1939 graduate of Appleton High School, Appleton, WI. She married and devoted her life to Francis J. Ellsworth on August 28, 1948 in St. Thomas Catholic Church. He predeceased her on June 5, 2001.
Virginia lived her life honoring and loving God and her beloved family. She was a longtime active member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. Virginia was a member of the St. Thomas Altar Society, sang in the church choir and worked at many of the church bazaars. Her talents were many and varied including sewing, cross stitch, embroidery, knitting, tatting, quilting and crafting. She was a tree decorator for the Festival of Trees.
Survivors include her children, Mary Ann (Michael) Olmstead and Ellen (Fred) Genrich; grandchildren, Sarah (Andrew) Wiemer, Jake (Megan) Genrich and Carley Genrich; great grandchildren, Riley and Zoey Wiemer, Livy Genrich and Brynn Kirkland; beloved nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, two brothers, Joseph Stoffel and Fred Stoffel.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial for Virginia will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 6, 2019 at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 824 E. Grand Ave., Beloit, WI. Burial will be in Mt. Thabor Cemetery at a later date. Visitation of remembrance will be from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday in the church. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.
A memorial will be established in her name at a later date.
Eternal rest grant unto Virginia, O Lord.
