Mary Rae Bobnock, 66, of Beloit, WI, and formerly of Orfordville, WI, died quietly on January 17, 2019 at Beloit Memorial Hospital after battling a long-term pulmonary condition.
She was surrounded by loved ones, including Brian Warner and her two sons, David Warner and Michael Warner of Beloit and Madison respectively, and her dear sister, roommate, friend, and nurse, Lois Anne Bobnock.
She is also survived by beloved friends Nancy, Judy, and Jodi, and close cousins, Margaret, Frederic, James, David, and Douglas Leonard and Brian and Robert Short. All will greatly miss Mary's love and joy.
Mary was the older of two daughters of Raymond and Ila Bobnock, both deceased. She graduated from Beloit Memorial High School in 1970 and spent many years as a homemaker. She had special talents for sewing, cross-stitching, and gardening. She is remembered for sewing matching western-style shirts for her father and mother. Always a fun-loving person, Mary was a long-time fan of the Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers, Wisconsin Band and other Wisconsin teams. Mary sometimes joked that she would be with dogs in heaven. She left her constant companion, Bea, a Chinese Crusted Powderpuff, in the care of her sister Lois.
A celebration of Mary's life will be held in the summer. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.
