Bachofen

Kenneth R. Bachofen, Beloit, WI, passed peacefully on January 29th, 2019 after a year long battle with cancer. Ken was born April 5th, 1944 in Cambria, WI. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert and Valeria Bachofen. He attended Columbus High School and Madison Business College. Ken was employed by Freeman Shoe for 25 years. Ken was an avid fisherman with Lake Waubesa being his favorite fishing hole. He enjoyed spending time at his cottage in the Upper Peninsula and always loved being surrounded by his children and grandchildren.

Survived by his loving wife Carol of 53 years, his children Steve (Christine), Mike (Sue), Sara, Nick (Andrea), and sister Darlene (John) Cargen. He is also survived by his six grandchildren Noah, Quinn, Samantha, Stephanie, Peyton and Keegan, as well as nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Donald.

Memorial services will be held at the Rosman Funeral Home, 1125 Cranston Road in Beloit on Monday, February 4, 2019 at 1:00 PM. A visitation will also take place at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
