Karlene Fay Mears (Burkhamer) born September 28th 1966, daughter to the late Karen Huimuller and Richard Burkhamer lost her battle with cancer at 11:15 on December 31st.

Karlene was a free spirited woman. She was a bartender for many years and that is how many people came to love her. Everyone will remember her for having a heart of gold and always wanting to help people when at all possible. She loved to garden and do crafts. She was a very strong willed and hard working woman who never backed down from a challenge. She will be missed by many and forever in our loving memories.

Karlene is survived by her husband Randy Mears Sr, daughters Shaelynn (Tim) Linton, Naomi Mears and step children Jaymie and Randy Jr, 3 sisters Lisa, Dusty, Robin Burkhamer and 7 grandchildren; along with many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers Rob (Rotten) Wyss Sr, Timothy Burkhamer and her daughter Julie Teed.

She will be cremated by Compassion Cremations and then there will be a celebration of life on January 12th from 4pm to 8pm at the Town Club 1900 St Lawrence Ave, Beloit WI, 53511. Please come and join us in celebrating the wonderful life Karlene lived.
