One person killed in crash on I-39

EDGERTON - One person is dead after a vehicle rolled over along Interstate 39/90 near Edgerton today, according to a news release from the Wisconsin State Patrol.

The crash was reported around 9 a.m. today in the northbound lanes of I-39/90 near mile marker 168, according to the news release.

Witnesses said the driver was operating the vehicle very aggressively before it left the roadway and rolled down a steep embankment. The driver was ejected as the vehicle rolled over, according to the news release.

The state patrol is continuing its investigation of the crash. The victim of the fatal crash has not been identified.
