School Board OKs sale of lots in Trevino Court

BELOIT - The School District of Beloit Board of Education voted to approve the sale of its remaining lots in Trevino Court for $25,000 at its Tuesday evening special meeting, according to an interview with President Pam Charles after the meeting.

The career and technical education department had built one home on three lots the district acquired from the city. However, the board felt it wasn't profitable to build two more homes so it placed the lots up for sale.

At the meeting, the board updated its goals from last year with some additions and deletions as some goals had been met and other goals were identified.
