Police receive reports of more than 14 thefts from vehicles

BELOIT - More than 14 thefts from vehicles have been reported to the Beloit Police Department this month.

A majority of these incidents have occurred on Beloit's West Side, but this this continues to be a frequent problem throughout the city, according to a news release from the police department.

Residents are urged to park vehicle in a garage if possible. If a secure location is not available, please make sure your windows are rolled up and all doors have been locked. Anything of value should be removed from the vehicle or should be placed somewhere that it cannot be seen.
