Complaint: Man faces robbery charges

JANESVILLE - A Brandon, Wisconsin man has been charged following an attempted bank robbery on Jan. 4 in Janesville, according to a Rock County criminal complaint.

Daniel L. Landis, 38, is charged with attempted armed robbery with use of force as a repeater, disorderly conduct as a repeater, second-degree recklessly endangering safety as a repeater, attempting to flee an officer and obstruction.

Landis allegedly attempted to rob Wisconsin River Bank on Jan. 4.

He later fled on a motorcycle leading Janesville police on a chase through the city.

Officers stopped him in the 300 block of Jackson Street, according to the complaint.
