JANESVILLE - A Janesville man accused of damaging tires at a property on Sunday was captured after Janesville police used a drone to find him.
Jerry Van Cannon, 53, faces possible charges of disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property and bail jumping, according to a Janesville Police Department news release.
Police were called to the 1000 block of Bouchard Avenue where a suspect reportedly damaged 13 tires using a knife. The damage was estimated at $1,400.
The suspect fled to the area of the bike path near the creek. The police used a drone and they were able to identify a heat signature and officers were guided to where the suspect was hiding.
