Motorcyclist injured in Roscoe crash

ROSCOE - A motorcyclist who was struck Tuesday by a vehicle on Highway 251 north of Bridge Street received non-life threatening injuries, according to Harlem-Roscoe Fire Protection District Chief Don Shoevlin.

Rescue crews reported to the area at around 3:45 p.m. and found the man sitting up and alert, Shoevlin said. He was transported to Mercyhealth on Rockton Avenue in Rockford for further evaluation.
