Three minors suspected of stealing purse

JANESVILLE - Three minors have been identified as suspects in the theft of a purse at the Target store in Janesville on Tuesday.

The three suspects have been referred to juvenile court authorities, according to a news release from the Janesville Police Department. The release stated the suspects do not live in the Janesville area. The vehicle used in the crime, a BMW, was reported stolen from Fitchburg, Wisconsin, the news release stated.

Three suspects reportedly entered the Target Store at 2017 Humes Road shortly after 5 p.m. Tuesday, grabbed a woman's purse from her shopping cart and fled the scene in the BMW.
