BELOIT - Town of Beloit officials have refinanced the town's $3.6 million State Trust Fund Loan, which was approved by the Board of Commissioners of Public Lands on March 5.

Town of Beloit Finance Director/Treasurer Sara Regenauer said the town obtained a State Trust Fund Loan in the spring of 2018 to pay for the sewer portion of the 208 project. The state loan was due by March 5. She said the original plan was to have secured a Clean Water Fund Loan by now, but since the Clean Water Fund Loan won't be closing until May or June the town had to extend the term of its State Trust Fund Loan.
