Fire engine 'push back' ceremony planned

BELOIT - A fire engine "push back" ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Beloit Fire Station 2, 2111 Cranston Road, to signal the arrival of Beloit's newest fire engine.

The new fire engine was built by Pierce Manufacturing in Appleton, Wisconsin. It replaces a fire engine that was built in 1999. The public and neighboring fire department personnel are welcome to attend.
