BELOIT - School District of Beloit teachers received an extra personal day after a recent two-hour delay on Jan. 28, according to Public Information Officers Brian Vissers.

Staff who were not present on that day due to the weather had to use the personal day on the day they missed. Everyone else had an extra personal day to use before June.

Vissers said there are certain stipulations on when staff can use the days such as not adjacent to a holiday break or spring break.

When asked the cost, Vissers responded via email: "I was told we do not have an estimated cost for this."
