Police: Boy, 15, charged following three robberies

JANESVILLE - A 15-year-old boy faces charges of robbery, burglary and false imprisonment following his arrest by Janesville police.

Janesville police had been investigating three robberies that occurred in the 2800 and 2900 blocks of Woodlane Drive between Dec. 20 and Jan. 4. In the most recent robbery, the victim stated the suspect handled some items that were left at the scene. Police examined the items for fingerprints and identified a suspect, leading to the arrest of the 15-year-old, according to a news release from the Janesville Police Department.

Police are continuing the investigation.
