Rock County clerk of courts wins re-election

Gackstatter

JANESVILLE­- Incumbent Jacki Gackstatter has held onto her Rock County Clerk of Courts seats, besting independent Chelo Dassow on Tuesday.

The final vote was 45,439 (or about 76 percent) for Gackstatter and 13,888 (or about 23 percent) for Dassow.

Gackstatter, 56, of Janesville, has held the office since 2014 and is looking forward to continuing her work on the projects she's been overseeing, such as the transition from paper to electronic filing of court cases and consolidated the courts administration from three to two operating divisions.
