Convicted sex offender now residing in Beloit

BELOIT - John C. Johnson, 32, a convicted sex offender, has been released from prison and is residing in Beloit.

Johnson was convicted of three counts of possession of child pornography in February 2015.

He remains on supervision until Nov. 10, 2027 and he is required to register with the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry.

He is residing at a location rented by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections at 1216 Portland Ave. Conditions of his supervision includes he is to have no unsupervised contact with minors. He cannot go to bars or liquor stores and he cannot consume alcohol or drugs.
