Sordid history of Lake Geneva featured at Talcott Free Library

ROCKTON - Talcott Free Library, 101 E. Main St., Rockton, will host the program "Sordid and Scandalous Lake Geneva" at 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 26. with Michael Rehberg from Black Pointe Estate and Gardens.

Rehberg will present historic gossip of Lake Geneva, including the dish on a 1950s bank robbery, the town's ties to prohibition gangsters, tales of the Geneva Lake sea serpent, the scandalous past of downtown and the historic Maple Park neighborhood.
