Glow in the Garden expands for two evenings

ROCKFORD - Rockford Park District's Nicholas Conservatory and Gardens, 1354 N. 2nd St., Rockford, will host the second year of the Glow in the Garden Festival for two evenings from 6-9 p.m. on Sept. 20 and 21.

There are activities for all ages, including a 5K run, a free kids fun run, interactive family stations throughout the gardens, colorful glowing lanterns floating on the Eclipse Lagoon, plus live music on the Riverview Terrace.

To register for the 5K, visit runsignup.com/Race/IL/Rockford/GlowintheGarden5k. Early registration is $25 through Aug. 25. Glow in the Garden lanterns may be purchased for $5 each.
