David Grover and Barbara Anderson will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip. The couple was married July 19, 1969, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Beloit, and have lived in Beloit their entire lives.

David was employed by Gardner Machine (Fives) in South Beloit for 48 years before retiring in 2017. Barb was a homemaker and also worked at Shopko and Walmart. They owned and operated Grover's Cafe with their daughter.

They both enjoy fishing, going to the casino, traveling and their camper in Caloma they've had for 20 years.

Most of all, they enjoy family gatherings with their two children, Tina (Ray) Boeke and David Jr. (Heather); 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
