Photo provided Dawn Lemirand-Poepping (right), a teacher at Beloit Memorial High School, was a guest at the Governor's Mansion in Madison. She participated in the National Board Pinning Ceremony for professional educators who received certification in the past school year. She was accompanied by Cynthia Slavish (center), reading specialist at Aldrich Intermediate School, and Amanda Sellen (left), a fellow teacher at Beloit Memorial High School, who submitted her National Board work in May and will get her results in December.
