Free pop-up event set at Davis Park in Rockford

ROCKFORD - Transform Rockford, Rockford Area Convention and Visitors Bureau and the YMCA announced a collaboration to host a free pop-up event at the recently renovated Davis Park in downtown Rockford from 9 a.m.- noon on July 20. Dubbed the "Move More" pop-up, it will bring together residents both young and old, giving them access to three different fitness classes at no-cost. Attendees can expect high-energy music, exercise and a free giveaway (for the first 150 people).

The schedule for the day will be Les Mills BodyCombat from 9-9:45 a.m., Club Craze from 10-10:45 a.m. and yoga from 11-11:45 a.m.

In addition, a free kids zone area will be available for children ages 5-12, provided by the Rockford Park District. For more information, visit online at www.transformrockford.org.
