Photo provided Summerfield Zoo in Belvidere, Ill., announced the recent birth of a baby ring-tailed lemur. The public is invited to view the baby lemur and the entire lemur troop while visiting the zoo. "Ring-tailed lemurs are on the endangered species list and continue to have a decreasing wild population. We are thrilled to announce this birth and invite the public to come learn about this very special species," said Rick Anderson, director at Summerfield Zoo.
