AARP Smart Driver Course set at Rock County Council on Aging

JANESVILLE - Mobility Management of Rock County will be hosting the AARP Smart Driver Course from 12:30-4:30 p.m. on June 20 at the Rock County Council on Aging, 3328 Hwy 51, Janesville.

Participants will learn defensive driving skills, current driving laws and technologies in their vehicles, and how to manage and accommodate age-related changes in vision, hearing and reaction time.

There are no tests required to pass the course and many participants may be eligible for an insurance discount after taking the course. Participants are encouraged to check with their insurance agent to see if they are eligible.

The course is open to drivers of all ages and costs $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members.
