Summer events set at the South Beloit Library

SOUTH BELOIT - The South Beloit Public Library, 630 Blackhawk Blvd., invites Northern Illinois residents to sign up for the summer reading club. Children and their families can record the number of minutes they read during the summer with weekly prizes being given.

Other events taking place during the summer include the following:

• Adult Book Club - 9 a.m. on the first Saturday of the month.

• Sci-Fi/Fantasy Book Club - 9 a.m. on the second Saturday of the month.

• Adult Bring Your Own Craft (B.Y.O.C.) - 6 p.m. the last Monday of the month.

• Storytime for Littles - 10 a.m. on Thursdays.

• Preschool Storytime - 10 a.m. on Friday.

• Summer Saturday Storytime - 10 a.m. on the third Saturday of the month.

• Little Builders Club - 6 p.m. on the first Monday of the month.

• Lego Club - 6 p.m. on the third Monday of the month.
