Historical Society to feature Wisconsin pioneers

BELOIT - The Beloit Historical Society will host the program, "The Making of Pioneer Wisconsin: Voices of Early Settlers," with Michael Stevens at 1 p.m. on June 8 at the Lincoln Center, 845 Hackett St., Beloit. Samples of Pioneer food will be served during the event.

Stevens is Wisconsin State Historical Emeritus and is the author of 15 books on historical subjects. A Milwaukee native, he now lives in Fitchburg.

The cost is $5 for members and $8 for non-members. Ages 17 and under are free. Reservations are due by calling 608-365-7835 or online at beloithistory.org.
