The Beloit Rotary Club has recognized Jessica Chavez and Stormy Staskal as Rotary Students of the Week for Beloit Memorial High School.

Jessica Chavez is the daughter of Velia and Eduardo Chavez.

Jessica has been a high honor roll student all four years at Beloit Memorial receiving awards for Outstanding Academic Achievement along with receiving the Superintendent Scholars Award. She has earned the Business Department Award and the Purple Knight Achievement Award for DECA. Jessica is a member of the BMHS National Honor Society.

While at BMHS, Jessica has been involved with Art Club, DECA, FBLA, the National Art Honor Society and LULAC.

Athletically, she is a member of the BMHS girls tennis team.

Outside of BMHS, Jessica is a BEL Scholar at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BizTank Kid at Geneva Supply.

Jessica's future plans are to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison to study marketing and accounting in hopes of owning her own business.

Stormy Staskal is the daughter of Les and Nancy Alseth.

Stormy has been a high honor roll student all four years at Beloit Memorial receiving awards for Outstanding Academic Achievement along with receiving the Superintendent Scholars Award. Stormy is a member of the BMHS National Honor Society. While at BMHS, Stormy has been involved with Student Senate, FCA, the BMHS concert choir as an officer and Academic Decathlons as an officer.

Outside of BMHS, Stormy works at OLA daycare while remaining a part of Rock-County 4-H. As a part of 4-H she is involved with the show choir "Heatwave." Stormy also enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Stormy will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay to major in elementary education with a minor in communications.
