UWW Rock County sets spring workshops

JANESVILLE - UW-Whitewater at Rock County, 2909 Kellogg Ave., Janesville, recently announced its spring lineup of workshops. The schedule includes something for people of all ages, from cooking to sign language and meditation to history. Available workshops include the following.

• The Brilliant World of Harry Potter - 6-8 p.m., April 1, 8, 15 and 22. Open to anyone eight years and older.

• Painting Experimentation: Water Color and Acrylic - 1-4 p.m., April 20. Available to adults 18 and older.

• Seminar Series: Patriotism, Dissent and the Other in American History - 6-7:15 p.m., April 3, 10, 17 and 24.

• Life Story Writing Classes - 10 a.m.-noon, Mondays, April 8 - May 13.
