The Beloit Rotary Club has recognized Amber Wald and Eiley Murphy as Rotary Students of the Week for Beloit Memorial High School.

Amber Wald is the daughter Amy and Kurt Wald.

Amber has been a high honor roll student all four years at Beloit Memorial receiving awards for Outstanding Academic Achievement along with receiving the Superintendent Scholars Award.

Amber is a member of the BMHS National Honor Society. While at BMHS, Amber has been involved with Student Senate, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Link Crew, and Environmental Club as vice president.

Athletically, she is a member of the BMHS girls soccer team as captain.

Outside of BMHS, Amber has volunteered at the Welty Center as a 5th grade guide and the Salvation Army as a bell ringer. She is a Gymnastics Level 7 Team member, a YMCA gymnastics instructor and a member of the Rock Soccer State Team.

Amber will be attending Carroll University to major in nursing.

Eiley Murphy is the daughter Renee and Scott Murphy.

Eiley has been a high honor roll student all four years at Beloit Memorial receiving awards for Outstanding Academic Achievement along with receiving the Superintendent Scholars Award. Eiley is a Beloit College Porter Scholar.

While at BMHS, Eiley has been involved with Art Club, chamber orchestra, Link Crew, and Environmental Club. Outside of BMHS, Eiley has volunteered at the Humane Society. She is a member of the Rock County Youth Orchestra and a lifeguard-swim instructor at the YMCA and Rockton Pool. Eiley also enjoys horseback riding.

Eiley's future plans are to attend one of the following colleges: St. Norbert College, St. Michael's College, Wesleyan College, Skidmore College or Middlebury College to major in Biochemistry. She would like to become a veterinarian.
