Rock County DAT sets program on domestic abuse

JANESVILLE - The Diversity Action Team of Rock County presents "You Don't Know What You Don't Know About Domestic Violence" from 6:30-8 p.m. on March 21 at Craig High School, 401 S. Randall Ave., Janesville (entrance 27).

The program is presented by Jessi Luepnitz, YWCA domestic violence program director, and Clinton Anderson, YWCA volunteer coordinator.

Participants will learn about the misconceptions of victims, why victims stay with their abusers, the power and control abusers use on their victims and the types of abuse that take place.
