BELOIT - Rock County Christian School (RCCS) has named Alexander Rucker, 12th grade, its Student of the Month for February.

Alexander is the son of Russell and Elena Rucker.

Alexander is a hardworking and dedicated student. He is very helpful to other students and is willing to step up and meet challenges even in difficult circumstances. Alexander is on the leadership team at school and he mentors a younger student as well as leads a small group each week. He was a member of the Costa Rican mission team in 2016.

Alexander attends St. Vladimir's Russian Orthodox Church in Rock City, Illinois. He is very active in his church, being an ordained reader, an alter boy and singing in the choir. Alexander is also a current candidate for village trustee in Orfordville.

Alexander plans on attending Blackhawk Technical College in the fall and enrolling in their accounting program. After college, he plans on taking theological classes in pursuit of possibly becoming a priest.
