Print Article

JANESVILLE - The Rock County Genealogical Society (RCGS) will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 19 at the The Tallman Home Carriage House, 450 N. Jackson St., Janesville, directly behind the Tallman Home and Museum.

The program for the meeting is "So, I Tested My DNA ... Now What?" with David Bradford.

Bradford has been a member of RCGS for 20 years and currently serves as its board chairperson and webmaster.

His presentation will cover a review of the three main types of DNA testing and provide rules and tools for evaluating how much shared DNA overlap is needed to track down possible cousins, ways to "upload" your DNA results to other labs' websites for additional insights and answer common questions.
