First Community Credit Union had their most successful Bulb Drive to date in 2018, raising $7,836.24 for local nonprofit organizations.

Every November, a bare tree is put up at First Community Credit Union's four branch locations where members and credit union staff can "purchase" a bulb to decorate the trees. Collections from the Bulb Drive are donated to a local charity of the branch's choice.

This year's efforts collected a record amount in donations plus the credit union matched each dollar donated. Local nonprofits who benefited were: Caritas Community Resource Center in Beloit who received $2,695.12, The Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin in Janesville who received $3,443.12, Green County Food Pantry in Monroe who received $781 (not pictured) and Rescue Mission in Rockford who received $917.

First Community Credit Union wishes to thank all the donors who helped make a difference in their community.
