Beloit LWV to hold talk on homelessness

BELOIT - The Beloit League of Women Voters (LWV) will host Jessica Locher, from ECHO and the Homelessness Intervention Task Force, who will speak at 5 p.m. on Jan. 14 at the Beloit Public Library, 605 Eclipse Blvd. Locher will talk about how the task force works with multiple organizations to receive funding and provide various services to those who are currently homeless or at risk of becoming homeless and also address current unmet service needs in Rock County.

A League meeting will follow the talk. The event is open to the public.
