'Police outing successful'

Print Article

On August 12 the Beloit Professional Police Association successfully hosted the annual Wisconsin Professional Police Association Golf Outing at Krueger Haskell Golf Course. Golfers came from across the state to participate and enjoy a day out. Several golfers commented positively about how nice the golf course looked.

For the social event Sunday night, golfers enjoyed an excellent meal and other festivities at Patty's Road Dawg Pub. After golfing on Monday, the golfers enjoyed the great food from Putters Pub. Thank you Patty's Road Dawg Pub and Putters Pub for the excellent food and atmosphere.

The Association would also like to thank the following businesses for sponsoring a hole. Without their support the outing would not have been a success.

Tilley's Ballyhoo, Stateline Mental Health, Firehouse Subs, Gonstead Chiropractic, Finley Buick GMC, Budweiser Motors, Culver's (Beloit), L&C Automotive, Full Circle Furnishings, Drevdahl Auto Body, Turtle Tap, Road Dawg, First National Bank, Town of Beloit Professional Police Association, Beloit Health System, Walmart, Beloit Fire Association, Flying AJ's Towing.

The Association would also like to express our thanks and appreciation to the following businesses who donated a raffle item for the banquet: Tilley's Ballyhoo, Culver's (Beloit), Beloit Health System, Bigfoot Holster, Salvador's.

Finally, there were several volunteers who donated their time during the outing. Without the volunteers' help, the outing would not have run smoothly or been as much fun. Thanks to: Christopher Regenauer, Emily Donovan, Cindy Seidel, Luann Alme, Jamie Linder, Karin Loewekamp, Mike Cullen, Julie Strain, Greg Strain.

The Beloit Professional Police Association is grateful for all who contributed to this event.
